Three 6 Mafia rapper DJ Paul is feeling the aftershock for carrying a taser around NYC last year ..., he's been sentenced to community service following his weapon possession arrest.
As we reported, DJ Paul was stopped by NYPD officers back in October after leaving a restaurant with an open beer in his hand. According to police, Paul admitted he was carrying a taser at the time, so he was placed under arrest for misdemeanor possession of a weapon. He was also charged with carrying an open container.
Paul originally pled "not guilty" to the charges -- but today, the rapper struck a plea deal with prosecutors, agreeing to plead guilty to disorderly conduct instead.
He was sentenced to 21 hours of community service.
Could be worse.
