She Said What?! Michele Bachmann Goes In On President Obama’s Money

obama gray hairPresident Obama is extremely wealthy,” Michele Bachmann said when USA Today asked how someone with “vast wealth” could connect to the American public. She went on to say, “He and his wife have been wealthy for a number of years, and so I think that’s really the issue. President Obama is wealthy — what does he understand about the common man right now?” Michele Bachmann’s been known as the woman in the House of Representatives that must love the taste of her feet because I swear her foot is constantly in her mouth. There’s constantly questionable content coming from Bachmann’s mouth and now she’s bringing up President Obama’s bank account.

Huffington Post has reported that President Obama was reported to have made between nearly $2.6 million and nearly $8.3 million. Meanwhile, Mitt Romney’s net worth is up to $255 million! If there’s anyone that can’t understand the “common man”–it’s Romney! Numbers don’t lie. Take a look at the net worths of President Obama, Michelle Bachmann, Mitt Romney and what it costs to finance a presidential campaign.
$2.8 Million: Michele Bachmann’s net worth
$2.6 – $8.3 Million: President Barack Obama’s net worth
$255 Million: Mitt Romney’s net worth
$50 – $100 Million: How much it takes to run a presidential campaign

If Bachmann’s point was to discredit President Obama as a president for the people, she’s failed. If you bring up someone’s paycheck and cry out that they make way too ‘much money to understand the average man’, then you shouldn’t be bringing in millions as well. As a Romney endorser, Bachmann’s purpose is to support, uplift and pretty much tell America that there is no other choice but Romney. This financial point she’s making is without merit. Romney’s bank account could run laps around President Obama’s so how is it that Romney understands the “common man” any more than President Obama? He doesn’t, which is why Mitt Romney is struggling to gain the support of the “common people” of America. It took his wife, Ann Romney, at the Republican National Convention to make him even slightly likeable–and even that hasn’t done much to move the needle.

Ann Romney claimed that she knows what it’s like to not be able to put food on the table, and that she and Mitt survived on tuna sandwiches and pasta in the early years of their relationship. There’s “common people” in America that don’t even understand what it’s like to enjoy a luxury of eating tuna for dinner because their plates are empty. So please tell me how you can possibly feel, or even understand, the pain of living without money. Romney said out of his own lips, “I’m not concerned about they very poor.”
Folks are still not about that Romney life and if we leave it in the incapable hands of Michele Bachmann, no one ever will. We see your tactics Romney and we’re just not buying it and not because we can’t afford it, but because what you’re selling is all false.
